License-Free Freshwater Fishing Day
Multiple Locations | All Counties
April 6th – 7th, 2024

License-free fishing days provide an excellent opportunity for those who don’t yet have a fishing license to experience fishing, take youth fishing, or for avid anglers to introduce a friend to fishing without having to purchase a license.  On these days, the fishing license requirement is waived for all recreational anglers, including both residents and non-residents. All other rules such as seasons, bag and size limits apply.

Join us on the beach at Sunset Park as we celebrate generations of love with a special complimentary vow renewal and reception. Look Up in the Sky
T.H. Stone Memorial St. Joseph Peninsula State Park | Cape San Blas

Join us for an after-dark event with a volunteer astronomer to observe the night sky. Clear skies permitting, telescopes, and binoculars will be set up to capture views of the moon, planets, and other celestial objects. All participants must enter the park before sunset. The front gates will be locked at that time.

2024 St. Joseph Bay State Buffer Preserve Tram Tour
Joseph Bay State Buffer Preserve Visitor Center | Port St. Joe
April 18th, 2024

The third Thursday of every month, the Buffer Preserve offers a tram tour through the preserve. The tour will begin with a separate history talk inside the Visitor Center at 9AM. Attendees will then proceed to the Main Gate parking lot (across the street from the visitor center) to board the tram. The tram moves slowly, and the staff will interpret the surroundings while you ride down Treasure Road and Sandridge Road.

25th Annual Apalachicola Classic Boat & Car Show

The Apalachicola Bay Chamber of Commerce present the 25th Boat & Car Show on April 20th from 10am to 4pm at Riverfront Park in Apalachicola.
